We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join a manufacturing operation in Ostrava. This role is suited to a hands-on leader with strong experience in automotive.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining quality manuals, procedures, and certification systems, including ISO/IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
Planning and conducting internal audits and Management Reviews
Coordinating customer and third-party audits
Handling customer complaints, claims, and related negotiations
Leading emergency responses to major quality issues and preventing production line stoppages
Analyzing and improving quality costs and KPIs
Reviewing APQP activities and managing PPAP/ISIR approvals
Assigning responsibilities, managing attendance, and evaluating team performance
Delivering quality training and coaching inspectors
Preparing reports and submissions for headquarters and customers
Leading 3S & 5S activities across the factory
Supporting team members during absences
Performing other tasks assigned by management
What We Are Looking For
Engineering degree or similar technical background
5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, ideally Tier 1
Previous leadership experience in production
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations
Experience with ERP/MES systems
Problem-solving mindset and good MS Office skills
